About the Practice

Will I see Bethany every visit?
Yes. Always. There is no other therapist. There are no aides. You book Bethany, you get Bethany.
How long is each session?
60 minutes, one-on-one with Dr. Bethany Reuter. Every visit.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on the issue. Most clients see meaningful progress in 4 to 8 visits. Some need fewer. Some need more. You will have a clear plan after your first evaluation.
What is the difference between Enhance PT and a typical insurance-based clinic?
Insurance-based clinics often schedule 3 patients in the same hour, split your time with a tech or aide, and limit treatment options based on what is reimbursable. Enhance PT does none of that. You get 60 minutes with Dr. Bethany every visit, full hands-on care, and treatment chosen for what actually works.

Pricing and Payment

How much does a session cost?
New client evaluations are $200 for 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are $175 for 60 minutes. Payment is due at time of service.
Do you take insurance?
No. Enhance PT is a direct-pay practice and does not contract with any insurance network. This is what allows full 60-minute sessions, one-on-one care, and treatment plans built around your goals instead of a billing code.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. Physical therapy is an eligible expense for both Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. Bring your card or be reimbursed by your account administrator.
Will my insurance reimburse me?
Possibly. I provide a detailed superbill on request that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan. Call your insurance and ask about out-of-network PT benefits before your first visit if reimbursement matters to you.

Getting Started

Do I need a physician referral?
No. Minnesota is a "direct access" state, which means you have the right to seek treatment from a licensed physical therapist without a referral. Direct access is limited to 90 days. If you need treatment beyond that and want to use insurance reimbursement, a referral may be helpful.
How do I book a visit?
Schedule online at the booking link, call (651) 369-1196, or fill out the contact form.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Comfortable clothes to move in, any relevant imaging or reports, a list of medications, and your HSA/FSA card or payment method.

Pelvic Floor Specific

Do I need an internal pelvic exam?
No. Internal exams are offered when they would meaningfully inform your care, but they are optional. You can decline, postpone, or stop at any time.
Do you treat men?
Yes. I have specific training in men's pelvic health including prostate cancer recovery, chronic prostatitis, pelvic pain, and orthopedic concerns.

Telehealth

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer telehealth physical therapy for residents of Minnesota and Wisconsin via a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform. Telehealth is billed at the same rate as in-person visits.

Location and Policies

Where are you located?
1826 Northwestern Ave, Stillwater, MN 55082, inside River Valley Athletic Club within the Salon and Spa area. Parking is on site.
What is your cancellation policy?
[Bethany to provide.]
Dr. Bethany Reuter, DPT, owner of Enhance Physical Therapy in Stillwater, MN

Hi, I am Dr. Bethany Reuter.

I started Enhance PT because I was tired of watching patients get rushed through their care. After years in traditional clinics, I knew there was a better way to practice physical therapy. One where the person on the table actually came first.

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced training in pelvic health, orthopedics, dry needling, visceral manipulation, and concussion rehabilitation. I treat every client like the only client on my schedule, because for that hour, they are.

If you have been brushed off, told to just live with it, or shuffled between providers who do not talk to each other, I want you to know there is another path. And I would be honored to walk it with you.
